As a designer goldsmith, Diana Kim England was the first and only to conceive of the the woven shapes used on the wooden Nantucket Lightship Baskets as earrings, using gold combined with the genuine materials used on Lightship Basket tops.
The hand cut, filed and polished ebony wood used in the wooden Nantucket lightship basket top has been adopted in these gold earrings as seen above. It's quite often confused as onyx. A ring of diamonds surround each individually cut center piece of ebony.
These Earrings are also available in repurposed hand cut antique ivory from piano keys.
Prices start at $1140 depending on size and shape.
