Most gems are cut with a flat top so the owner can look straight down and into the depths of a gem. The peridot in this pendant is cut by a lapidarist who has designed a way to see through a gemstone from angles that are not only through the top of the stone. It can be viewed from many angles to see into the depths of this peridot's green richness. Mark Gronlund has conceived a cut that he calls concave cutting. A good match of color, Pink Sapphire and Green Peridot make a great combination.
